Hello, I'm Ishleen Kaur
My professional trajectory reflects a commitment to translating complex science into human impact. As a former Disease Expert for Cervical Cancer, I bridged the gap between clinical data and community health, utilizing empathetic outreach to demystify complex medical narratives Teacher
I am a postgraduate in Human Genetics, with a dissertation focused on analyzing the role of FSHR polymorphism (rs2268361) in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) across case-control cohorts. My academic training has equipped me with a solid foundation in molecular biology, bioinformatics, cytogenetics, genetic counseling, birth defects, anatomy, physiology, and recombinant DNA technology, fields I not only studied rigorously but remain deeply passionate about.
I have worked as a Disease Expert for Cervical Cancer in Females, where I engaged in meaningful outreach and public health communication, bringing science to communities in accessible, empathetic ways. Currently, I am extending my passion for biology and genetics into the education sector, teaching Science (Biology & General Science) to grades 9–12. This experience has further strengthened my skills in curriculum development, student engagement, and science communication.
Beyond the lab, I bring a vibrant personality to every setting. As an extrovert and a natural communicator, I thrive in collaborative spaces and enjoy meaningful interactions that expand my perspective on the world and its diverse people. Whether it’s through scientific dialogue or a game of basketball, I believe in building strong connections.
My interests span spirituality, literature, music, and global cultures. I’m especially drawn to exploring the intersection between science and the metaphysical. This eclectic blend of science and soul helps me approach challenges with both logic and empathy.
I aspire to work in environments that foster growth, innovation, and impact whether in academia, healthcare, genetics, biotech, or wellness-oriented research.
Open to collaborations, research projects, fellowships, and full-time opportunities in the fields of human genetics, clinical research, biotech, healthcare education, science communication and beyond.
