Hyderabad, India's Indrajaal has Won a Contract from the Ministry of Defence of India worth Rs. 100 Crore
This is huge news for the Hyderabad-based anti-drone startup - Indrajaal has just won contracts worth 100 crores from the Ministry of Defence of India and will provide smart autonomous systems to protect crucial Indian Army and Navy locations, specifically naval ports on the west coast of India and Indian army posts near the eastern border of India.
Founder of Indrajaal, Kiran Raju, believes that these contracts will change the way India protects itself, with their systems acting as an 'Airspace Shield, which provide an 'airspace warning' when there is any activity detected on the airspace around the Indian Army and Navy assets.
Indrajaal has been able to provide airspace shields due to the advanced technology used in the SkyOS/C5ISRT (Common Command and Control Combat Information Systems Real Time).
Additionally, the SkyOS/C5ISRT operates as an 'Air Space Shield', which allows for real-time data gathering, analysis, soft-kill, soft denial (Jamming of GPS systems), cyber takeover and even hard-kill capabilities on rogue/unmanned aerial systems that threaten the Indian Army and Navy assets.
Indrajaal is providing an increased operational capability for both the Indian Army and Navy, allowing them greater independence and resilience in their ability to successfully combat threats from uncrewed aerial systems (UAS).
This is yet another amazing example of Indian innovation on the defence front and Hyderabad is leading the way in this area. UAS is rapidly becoming the future battlefield and Indrajaal will be there to counter whatever comes our way!
