Why is This Important Today?

There is a great deal of unrealized potential in India, with large portions of Indian districts suffering with low levels of education and low levels of overall development. NITI Aayog is leading the charge by establishing practical solutions using technology (specifically, AI) as the backbone to the process. No jargon. Just real steps to close the gaps.

Focuses on Developing Underserved Districts: Targeted at aspirational districts— districts in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha that have lagged behind with plentiful jobs and skills (skills development) and lack of infrastructure.

Improves Accessibility to Education: Education will become accessible, personalized and available in rural locations that may have unreliable internet connections.
